On the 27th September 2011, Lionsgate acquired the film rights to Dead Island and was beginning feature film development.
The Dead Island Film is a possible film tie in to the original game. Lamb composed the trailer theme for the 2011 video game Dead Island, as well additional music and sound design for the films Valhalla Rising, Wild Country, Asylum and Blinded.
